I was walking down the ruidoso strip and decided to check out this thrift store, with their prices you might as well shop at a retail store. The lady at the register was rude and the store smells like farts
Wow. I don't know where to start. If I could leave a review with no stars I would! My fiancé and I came to this store because they offer scooter rental services. We walked in and the owner was helping someone else. We waited a little while she kissed the lady's ass because she was purchasing several things. She finally asked us what we wanted and directed us to this young man and told us that he handled the rentals. We followed him and he told us we could practice in the parking lot until we could get the hang of riding... the scooters died twice in the parking lot. We didn't even make it out. We went inside to ask for our refund because they had a sign that said that the contracts weren't in effect until we left the parking lot. The young man came up to us and said that the owner said she wasn't going to refund any fees. We asked to speak with her and he went to ask and came back and said that the owner said she couldn't process refunds because she didn't know how.. we asked to speak to her again and she finally came out, but with the bitchiest attitude!!! I was so confused because it felt like she forgot we were customers for a second... She argued with us for a minute and ignored my questions... I literally asked her
Me and my fiancé tried to rent scooters from here. They wouldn't even make it out of the parking lot without dying! They have a sign up that says no refunds once scooters leave parking lot. So since we couldn't even get out of the parking lot we went inside and said we wouldn't be taking them and wanted a refund. The owner had the young man tell us she wouldn't refund us. She didn't want to come out and talk to us. When she finally did she was very rude! We'll never go back here. DO NOT RENT SCOOTERS FROM HERE! Also I agree smells like farts.
something 3 times before she answered.. it was just a horrible experience. My fiancé was frustrated and told her we would just dispute the charges and she told us to go ahead... She finally said she would refund us in the end. We did nothing wrong and we were treated poorly. Word of mouth is a powerful thing and I know if I was lucky enough to own a little shop that I would treat all my customers with the utmost respect. Maybe she's bitter because her shop looks like a goodwill and smells like farts.
Vacationed from Texas, looking for some great thrifts. Walked in and sat on couch. Very comfy almost like your mom tucking you in at night. Lovely couch, was considering buying it until I was approached by a lady. She told me that I could sit outside if I wanted instead of on the couch. I was baffled that she would say that to a potentioal coustmer. I have connections to large retailers and that store was nothing like a store. I felt disrespected and insulted. I didn't buy the couch by the way.
Pricy for a thrift store, not a huge variety.
