Always clean. Machines well maintained.
Worst laundromat I've ever had the misfortune to visit. And the most expensive. I used 3 washers, one was $5.00, the others $2.50 each. In the large washer I washed my bedding and comforter, blankets, some jeans and a couple fleece jackets. When the big washer was done, I opened it to find all the items sopping wet, it had clearly not done a final spin, and about a gallon of water was left in machine, that the load couldn't absorb. The attendant, a rather peculiar woman who spoke rarely asked if I had jiggled the handle or something. No, but I know enough about commercial front load washers to know when they're running and locked out, handle jiggling won't make a difference. Kids run around jiggling everything, if it made a difference this would be happening all the time. The attendant said she'd have to call the owner, and after she spoke to her a while, she handed the phone to me, and I explained again the situation. Her attitude was terrible, trying to tell me that it must be my fault, I must have put something in the washer that didn't belong. I held my tongue and explained what I had placed in the washer, and that I wash the same things in laundries all over (I'm an RVer and travel extensively) and I have never had a problem. She made me describe in detail what I had put in there, and reiterated that it must be my fault, and that nothing could be wrong with her equipment. I asked her point blank what she intended to do about it, I was losing my patience, and her response was "nothing". No refund, no allowing another washer to spin them dry, nothing. I put my other damp clothes in the dryer, and a guy who claimed to be owner's husband came up in my face, started arguing in a loud voice and told me to leave. He proceeded to start sifting through my soggy items, evidently not finding anything to blame for his washer's performance. I said I would finish drying my clothes, and that I was calling the police regarding his defrauding me. Of course the police could do nothing, just advising me to pursue a "civil action" which would cost considerably more than the $14.00 I'd spent that day. The owner woman was gleefully telling me that the nearest other laundry was 45 miles away, incidentally. This might be the only reason this place stays in business. Discovered my RV park has a few washers and dryers, since I won't need to do blankets for a while, I'll definitely use theirs. If you can find a hotel, rv park, or apt. complex where you can do laundry, I'd definitely go there and avoid these crooked cheats.
