Not only was the wait for our food about 30 minutes when they weren't busy but my chicken Caesar wrap had zero chicken in it. The food was average at best but the price was very premium! Over $40 for two people. The place is nice but seems to value being trendy over being good.
My mom and I have been thrilled with our dining experiences here! We ate the Albequerque Turkey sandwich for lunch a few days ago and then enjoyed their breakfast burritos with green chili cheese grits for breakfast today. The preparation of the food is masterful and the ingredients are top quality. What we've loved the most is dining on their GORGEOUS outdoor patio that overlooks the river. So tranquil and so wonderful!
Sacred Grounds has delicious coffee (I'm still enjoying my half gallon of cold brew coffee) and food options, great live music, a relaxing and spacious atmosphere, and scenic views. There are separate spaces for individuals and small groups who want to sit and chat as well as large rooms for larger groups or individuals enjoying the live entertainment. There are three balconies each with unique views of the mountain scenery and the stream flowing behind the building. We actually watched deer grazing a short distance from where we were sitting. If you're in Ruidoso, you must visit Sacred Grounds and dont miss the gift shop in the Annex at Sacred Grounds next door to the coffee shop.
