I can't say enough good about Chuy's. I was on vacation and had some mechanical problems with a newer truck. I called Chuy's on a Saturday 30 minutes before closing and they were more than helpful. I asked that they change my dual fuel filters, air filter, oil and oil filter as my truck was struggling coming thru the mountains in to Ruidoso. They were more than okay with staying after hours for me to get there so they could help me out. While I was there they were extremely helpful in finding good accommodations for my RV that I had pulled in to town with. As a business owner myself, I was humbled to see a family business doing great service with honesty and integrity. Thanks again to Chuy and his family for taking care of me and my family.
One of the best in town my Ford f150 truck gave me problems for 7 months after taking it to the dealer ship they gave me false diagnostics and couldn't find my problem after 3 visits and about 2,500 later I gave up all hope until chuy got his hands on it not only did he find my problem he fixed it truck runs great again and it was fast and more than a fair price thanks again
My visit for an oil change was unfortunate and I won't return. I left feeling threatened with one woman raising her voice and three others standing with her telling me how wrong I was for wanting to use a Mobile 1 coupon to have $5 off the service. They explained harshly that they don't accept Mobile 1 coupons because they just use the name and are really a different company. I was the only customer there and 4 employees with raised voices was over the top. I was saying to charge my card for the service. I asked them to calm down and said it was fine but one woman began going on about how I ruined their day over asking to use a coupon. If this sounds bizarre these are my thoughts too. Just a bizarre experience. My advice is that if you go there don't step out of the chalk and don't ask to use a mobile 1 coupon for fear of riots by the employees marching in the street shouting that they are not mobile 1. Did I mention this was bizarre? Scared the daylights out of me.
