Excellent staff, food and prices. My Grandson and I took my wife, his Nana there for dinner on a Friday evening at 6:00 PM. The parking lot was full and people were waiting to be seated.
We went into the bar and were treated great even with an 11 year old in tow. Our table was ready within 20 minutes and our waiter couldn't have been better.
A Charloin for my Lady, Chicken Fingers for my Grandson and I had one of the very best Rib Eyes I've ever had...seriously.
My husband and I hadn't eaten at a K-Bobs in years. We both had steaks and they were perfect. Seriously as good as the much higher priced places we have gone to here in Ruidoso. We love the salad bar too. Giving it a 10!
The food was okay. It wasn't anything that special but it did have good flavor. The soups on the other hand were very bland. We had to wait to get a table and then once we were seated it took 20 minutes for our server to come greet us. It was upsetting but you could see it was a very busy night. I do like the remodeled version of this place. Beautiful wood floors and ceilings.
Great place overall. Tasty food, good salad bar. The service ran a little slow even though there was hardly anyone in there, but the waitress was super friendly.
After reading other reviews I realized how inconsistent this location can be. Our first visit in the summer of 2016 was o.k., not great. Today was a pleasant surprise. We ordered from the over 55 menu and it was good and cooked to perfection. The server was fantastic. Consistency in service and great meals would help this location. There is a huge difference in good food and great food. It's pricey for what you get, but if it was great service and great food it would be worth the extra cost.
Watch out Texas Club and Ranchers...K-Bob's serves a Rib Eye on par with you, surprise, surprise, surprise.
