My husband and I stayed in the Chipmunk cabin over the Thanksgiving holiday. We were pleased with every aspect of the cabin. It was exactly as described on the website and the price was great. The cabin and the grounds were very clean and the staff were easy to deal with. This place is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. The deer would visit each morning and we quickly learned that they like to eat apples :) These cabins have quickly become our place to stay when visiting Ruidoso.
The cabin is in a nice area where you still feel secluded but you're still close to town. The cabin was spacious for my family, included a public hot tub, wifi, cable, and had all the amenities that I could find at home. I would recommend anyone to book here.
We stayed in Big Bear and had a wonderful time. The grounds are beautiful and the deer plentiful. It was great drinking coffee on the porch and watching the deer. The management are helpful in every way. Would recommend Canyon Cabins to all. It's a nice, clean place to relax in the mountains.
The other's reviews are spot on in my opinion. Wife and I very much enjoyed our stay and the deer. Being able to walk out the door and along the beautiful river was definitely a plus!
