Staying in a cabin. The cabin is great. It has all the things we need and is perfect for our 2 night stay!!
I loved my stay. It's so quiet and peaceful. I love all the trees and the deer will walk right up to you.
Clean and comfortable rustic rooms, exactly what I was looking for. I've been here before and I have seen continuous improvements to these cabins. I'm sure they will continuously improve and keep providing an excellent experience. Excellent and very acomodating staff.
My wife and I made contact with a young lady at the office whom seemed nice and willing to help. Once we received our keys we checked into the acron which is a couples cabin. I was impressed to the fact that wood was supplied for the fire place. However rules state that you are only allowed five pieces of wood a day and must purchase more after that. While the cabin appeared nice I was able to notice small issue that were in needed of repair such as the shower faucet was loose and the bath tub was in need of repair due to the fact the coating was flaking off. My biggest issue that I noticed at 9:30 at night was when my wife and I pulled back the provided cover and sheet on the queen size bed. I immediately noticed loose animal hair on the bottom and top sheet as well as the comforter. This caused my wife and I to drive to Walmart and purchases our set of sheets and remake the bed. That following morning I contacted the office and was advised that they had a new cleaning lady and she must have washed the sheets with other sheets that contacted animal hair. That was of little comfort to me. I was as well not offered any form of compensation for this issue, not that I was looking for any however the offer would have been nice. I will visit this town again however I will look for other lodging.
Really friendly staff and cozy cabin. The staff was really nice about letting our dogs stay with us. The cabin is nicely decorated.
