We will be staying here every time we visit Ruidoso from now on!
THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY ACCOMMODATING! Super comfy beds plus it's right in the middle of this beautiful city.
Breakfast: standard hotel hot breakfast, staff was on top of keeping things fresh.
Room: very clean, no odor or damage, nicely updated.
Great Hotel, good location to downtown shopping and sight seeing, the employees were excellent, clean room, good breakfast. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Ruidoso, if I am back there in the future I will stay there again, Choice Hotels are a great place to stay.
Wifi: complimentary and fast.

They are in the middle of a remodel, where they removed all the floor tile and wallpaper from the lobby, and all the vending machines are pulled away from the walls so you can't walk around them. Hopefully it will be better after they're done. I originally reserved a room on the 1st floor, but got moved to the 3rd floor because of the remodel. The remodel made me feel like I was staying in a furnished warehouse. Not very accomodating to the situation. The girl at the front desk was very pleasant though. Dust is everywhere, even where they are not remodeling. Found graffiti scratched on the elevator doors. Coffee pot is in the bathroom, which is extremely unsanitary (I'd want to test that for fecal matter). Brown stains on the comforter, and white stains on the "leather" desk chair. Bed is hard as a rock. Floors and walls are very thin. Flickering light outside my window. Lights in hallways are different colors (yes, that's annoying) showing their lack of attention to detail and their willingness to make cheap, quick repairs even when it doesn't make sense. One lightbulb in bathroom is out. Drawers were left open. It just doesn't seem like they understand what quality means. Very low standards. I can't rate the free breakfast, because I don't feel safe eating it. Worst hotel in Ruidoso! Won't be back... which is too bad because I come once a month.
Pool/hot tub: clean, and the hot tub actually worked which can be rare with hotels!
Clean hotel. Friendly staff! The cleaning supervisor was very nice! The beds were new and very comfortable. Everything worked as expected! Will stay again next time!
My wife and I stayed here for a vacation with our one and three year old girls. Unfortunately the one year old got sick (read: vomited) all over the bed (something she ate one the way there didn't agree with her). We called down to the front desk and Brianna promptly cleaned up for us and brought us clean linens and towels, and did it all with a smile on her face. She was extremely professional and pleasant, and is a great example of how to treat customers in the service industry.
