I have enjoyed my stay. The room was large, clean, and had a nice view. The staff was very good to me. It was quiet. I will stay here again.
No frills hotel on the edge of town. Large rooms - very quiet! Pet friendly! Note to early risers and late arrivers – the lobby hours are extremely limited.

We arrived as refugees from the hellhole of the Super 8 ... fortunately Shannon made us feel welcome at Swiss and we found a huge room with balcony for only $89/night (that included the tax). The hotel is like the Lodging That Time Forgot but clean, roomy, very quiet and had bags of ice. It seems well run and Mgr is on site. Pool was drained when we were here so can't comment on that but even though the place is obviously ancient (there is a cigarette machine that says "sundries" on it in one of the lobbies) they have started upgrading. Great value, would stay here again ... thanks Shannon!
This place although dated is OK for a weekend. Sheets r clean crisp. Pillow case had some else's mascara. Requested to get new one. Great response time. Lobby help was personable, kind, informative. Walking into room it all smelled really clean for it being a ski resort. Bathroom really clean & well kept.
Charm and history. Walking around the facility was like going back in time. The view of the surrounding mountains is mesmerizing. If you are looking for modern, updated, and cookie cutter, this is not the place for you. If you can appreciate uniqueness, history, and craftsmanship from the late forties and early fifties, give it a shot. Granted our stay was in the summer of 2017 and were told the hotel is being updated and should be completed by 2019.
