Very nice. Spacious wooded area, cabins are spaced far enough apart for comfort. Cabins are very nice, though not luxurious. Key word is rustic, which is exactly what I was looking for. A very friendly deer seems quite at home here. First vacation in over 12 years, and I couldn't have asked for better.
This place will forever be my favorite. The accomadations are basic, but you can feel the love someone put into creating the perfect, simple, getaway. We love the grounds because it works for my physically and medically challenged kids.
You are looking for a decent cabin with air condition? Dan Dee's cabins is the place to go. We will always stay there when we go to Riudoso. Nice lake and hiking possibilities and horseback riding with sleds in the wintertime. Has a fireplace as well and a cute little kitchen with fridge.
A little out dated but cozy...great area, close to downtown...lots of deer and beautiful surroundings.
Hi, my husband and I came to Ruidoso early October 2017 for some much needed R&R and that's exactly what we got! Teri was a gracious host when we checked in. Our cabin called Starlight was very Rustic and Charming, but most important it was very clean!!!! We were able to enjoy cooking our own breakfast in the little kitchen that was well equipped for what we needed. Located in the Upper Canyon you have the opportunity to take nice walks close to the river through the beautiful pine trees and experience many deer sightings and listen to the call of Large Black Ravens as well as the unmistakable sound of the sweet little hummingbirds as they go whizzing by.
