Paid $140 for a room for one night. This morning, behind the coffeemaker, found a USED SYRINGE with handy, complimentary needle still attached. Not sure whether I'm more horrified by the fact that someone was shooting up in the room, or the fact that it wasn't noticed and removed. Will not be staying here ever again, either way. This, by the way, was after they gave us a room they'd already given to someone else, and we walked in on a lady and her kids and scared the heck out of them. And, there was no remote control in our second room, so I had to trundle back to the desk and ask for one. Seriously bad experience.
If you are looking for a place to just shower, sleep this is adequate. Not great or even good. It is relatively clean. Bed was surprisingly comfortable,probably the beat thing about tje room. The AC is on a green system, only really works well when you are in the room,so you come back to a warmish place. If you are a senior be sure to ask for a room on the back side the stairs are a killer
The front desk lady, Judith was quick, friendly and kind. She was doing a million things plus helpings us, if you're swinging by this place is highly recommended.
Love this place! I always stay here. Clean, quiet, & has a good breakfast.
Hey, not the Ritz, but $50 per night mid-week is really good for Ruidoso. Didn't experience any of the issues that others have mentioned. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Room was clean, perhaps a bit too much carpet fresh but tolerable. Older property, so be understanding. A bargain!
